Documentary series on the people who run the Rotterdam public transport company RET.

We believe public transport is one of those places where the condition of a society can be measured.

Rotterdam is the second largest Dutch city (Amsterdam comes first). It's raison 'd etre is the largest harbor of Europe that surrounds the city.
The city has a big blue-collar population and more than 50% of it's inhibitants are from non-western countries. Another 50% is going to vote for a right wing political party at next years election.
This makes Rotterdam the most interesting city to show the current social condition in The Netherlands.

That's why we where very excited when the RET asked us to make a 13 episode series that shows the company does not only excist in material (busses, subwaystations and trains) but most of all of it's people.

First episode will air on Sunday, September 13, 2009.
